About the Artist

Welcome! I’m Ain

A Malaysian-born artist who has called Belgium home since 2013. My journey into painting began somewhat unexpectedly. I first picked up a brush during the early days of the pandemic, using art as a sanctuary to navigate those uncertain times. Though I studied history and art, financial constraints once pulled me away from this path, but life had other plans.

Without formal degrees or diplomas in fine arts, my approach to painting is grounded in self-teaching, fueled by boundless curiosity, and a touch of daring. My skills are born from a blend of creativity, persistence, and a soft hand willing to experiment. Here, I invite you to step into my world—a canvas where dreams from the past have blossomed anew.

Welcome to Ainqisqis Arts

Dear Visitor,

I’m delighted to welcome you into my world—one that I’ve cherished and nurtured throughout my journey as a self-taught artist. Since 2020, I’ve been on a creative path that, after four years of dedication, has brought me to this exciting milestone: the launch of my very own online art gallery, Ainqisqis Arts.

This space is more than just a gallery—it’s a reflection of my soul, my energy, and my passion for crafting imaginative, fantasy-inspired artwork. Each piece you see here carries a piece of my vision, and I hope it offers you a moment of peace, inspiration, or even curiosity.

Feel free to explore my work, read my journal, or simply take a moment to rest your mind and eyes. This journey is not just about my art but also about connecting with you on a deeper level.

As for the future, I can’t predict where this creative path will take me. But what I can promise is to always share positive energy and good vibes with you.

Thank you for being here.

With love and gratitude,

Ain

"We Are All the Same, but Different"

When I first hear the phrase, "we are all the same, but different" it may sound like an easy topic--something straightforward to discuss about in broad terms. And yet, the more i dig into it the more complex it's become. For me expressing this thought is about trying to capture the intricacies  of human identity and connection. It's not as simple as saying we're all alike in some basic level, nor is it about celebrating our differences. It's about recognizing that each person carries a unique perspective shaped by experiences, culture, and personal beliefs, while also sharing certain core qualities that connect us.

In a way, it's about seeing beyond the surface, embracing that the same humanity flows through us all, even as it manifests in different ways. So, even if this idea feels like common ground, it's one i findendlessly intricate to explore. And perhaps, that's what make it worth discussing. It's simple in concept but infinitely layered in practice.
