What’s Up ? Latest Work in Progress Episode 1

It has been almost a month since I hosted my second solo exhibition. Over these past four weeks, I have learned, observed, and reflected on many things. After completing the the exhibition, I realized that it is time to gather new experiences, explore fresh perspectives, and begin a new chapter in my creative journey, For now, I feel that this journey should unfold naturally one episode at a time.

This mark my Creative world episode 1 : In the Rush, a vivid pause, while life continues, Vol 1

In the quiet morning, I was chasing time, rushing to be on time hurrying toward the nearest bus stop in the neighbourhood where I live. I still remember that moment. A storm almost ready to break. Wanting to save time, I took the shortest path to the bus stop that could carry me on my frame hunting journey to IKEA.

Then something stop me.

The beauty of the alley lined with bushes stood quietly before me. It existed somewhere between light and darkness, between calm and anticipation. Above, the pale blue sky slowly surrendered to shades of grey. The atmosphere shifted gently, and beauty emerge without speaking a single

Those simple elements made me pause. In that moment, I realised that no matter how busy and chaotic life becomes, no matter how much we rush, there are things we should learn to let go of. A moment not to rush, even when rushing seems necessary. A moment to reflect – To look into the mirror of my own life and ask :

Is this all my life is meant to be?

A moment when decisions, deadlines, and destination no longer matter. And from there, something with me began to grow. Because sometimes, IT IS NOT IN THE RUSH LIFE MOVE FORWARD. It is in the PAUSE.

A 50 × 60 cm oil pastel/crayon work on paper, created entirely by hand. Racing against time to bring this piece to completion before the week’s end. Every mark counts, every hour matters.
