When a child/ person has to beg simply to stay alive and have something to eat, it is a sign that our sense of humanity is in a critical state. It is heart breaking that so many people must plead for basis necessities just to survive. Struggling every day to make ends meet, while others deny or ignore their suffering as if it does not affect them. What is happening in the world is deeply painful. The level of neglect and selfishness can feel beyond cruel. Sadly, for many this is the reality we all faces every single day.
